Baked Brie with Apricot Preserves (Printable)

Warm Brie topped with apricot preserves and pecans, perfect for elegant entertaining.

# What's Needed:

→ Cheese & Dairy

01 - 1 (8-ounce) wheel Brie cheese

→ Toppings

02 - 1/3 cup apricot preserves
03 - 1/4 cup pecans, roughly chopped
04 - 1 tablespoon honey (optional)

→ Garnish & Serving

05 - 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves (optional)
06 - Crackers or sliced baguette, for serving

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a small baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Place the wheel of Brie on the prepared baking sheet. If desired, score the top of the Brie with a sharp knife in a crosshatch pattern.
03 - Spread the apricot preserves evenly over the top of the Brie. Sprinkle with chopped pecans and drizzle with honey if using.
04 - Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the Brie is soft and starting to ooze but not completely melted.
05 - Remove from the oven and let stand for 2–3 minutes. Transfer to a serving platter and garnish with fresh thyme if desired.
06 - Serve warm with crackers or sliced baguette.

# Tips for Success:

01 -
  • It looks incredibly impressive but takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish
  • The combination of warm creamy cheese and sweet preserves is practically addictive
02 -
  • Dont let it bake too long or you'll lose that gorgeous wheel shape as it completely collapses
  • Serve it right away because the texture changes dramatically as it cools
03 -
  • Score the Brie deeper if you want the preserves to sink into the cheese as it bakes
  • Let the cheese sit at room temperature for 20 minutes before baking for even melting
