Guilt Free Greek Yogurt Dough (Printable)

A creamy, protein-rich yogurt dough made with wholesome ingredients for a healthy snack or dessert.

# What's Needed:

→ Base

01 - 1 cup plain Greek yogurt, nonfat or 2%
02 - 1/2 cup almond flour
03 - 2 tbsp natural peanut butter or almond butter
04 - 2 tbsp honey or pure maple syrup
05 - 1 tsp vanilla extract
06 - 1 pinch sea salt

→ Add-ins

07 - 1/4 cup mini dark chocolate chips
08 - 1 tbsp mini white chocolate chips, optional
09 - 2 tbsp chopped walnuts or pecans, optional

# How to Make It:

01 - In a medium mixing bowl, add Greek yogurt, almond flour, peanut butter, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, and sea salt. Mix thoroughly with a spoon or spatula until a smooth, dough-like consistency forms.
02 - Gently fold in the dark chocolate chips and white chocolate chips along with the chopped nuts if using. Distribute evenly throughout the dough mixture.
03 - Taste the dough and adjust sweetness with additional honey or maple syrup if needed. Add more sea salt to enhance flavor balance as desired.
04 - Serve immediately as a dip for fresh fruit, pretzels, or graham crackers. For a firmer, cookie dough-like texture, refrigerate for 15-30 minutes before serving.
05 - Transfer any remaining dough to an airtight container and refrigerate. Consume within 3 days for optimal freshness and texture.

# Tips for Success:

01 -
  • You get all the nostalgic cookie dough satisfaction while accidentally getting 11 grams of protein per serving
  • It comes together in literally ten minutes with zero baking required
  • The texture is somehow creamy and doughy at the same time, which feels like magic
02 -
  • The texture will seem slightly loose at first but firms up beautifully in the refrigerator
  • Almond flour absorbs moisture differently than regular flour so give it a few minutes before adding more
  • Serving it chilled transforms the whole experience and makes it feel even more like real cookie dough
03 -
  • Room temperature ingredients mix together much more smoothly than cold ones straight from the fridge
  • Really good quality dark chocolate chips make such a difference in the final flavor
