03 - In a chilled bowl, whip heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla extract using a hand mixer or whisk until soft peaks form.
04 - Pour the blended shake into chilled glasses, filling each about three-quarters full to leave room for topping.
05 - Top each shake generously with the prepared whipped cream, creating a fluffy layer on the surface.
06 - Sprinkle with green sanding sugar or sprinkles and add a maraschino cherry on top. Serve immediately with straws.

# Tips for Success:

01 -
  • The peppermint hits different when you use pure extract instead of artificial stuff
  • They come together in literally five minutes flat
02 -
  • Room temperature ingredients make a sad, watery shake so keep everything cold until the second it hits the blender
  • The spinach trick for natural coloring actually works, but test it on yourself first before serving to guests
03 -
  • Freeze your serving glasses for ten minutes before pouring
  • The whipped cream holds its shape better if you chill your mixing bowl first
