Strawberry Cream Cold Latte (Printable)

Fresh strawberries meet cold brew coffee in this creamy, chilled latte perfect for summer days.

# What's Needed:

→ Strawberry Base

01 - 1 cup fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
02 - 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
03 - 2 tablespoons water

→ Milk & Cream

04 - 1 cup cold whole milk
05 - 1/4 cup heavy cream

→ Coffee

06 - 1/2 cup cold brewed espresso or strong brewed coffee, cooled

→ To Serve

07 - 1/2 cup ice cubes
08 - Whipped cream, for topping (optional)
09 - Fresh strawberries, for garnish (optional)

# How to Make It:

01 - Combine strawberries, sugar, and water in a small saucepan or microwave-safe bowl. Heat gently for 2-3 minutes until strawberries soften and release their juices. Let cool completely, then blend until smooth. Strain through a fine-mesh sieve if desired for a seedless puree.
02 - In a shaker or large glass, combine the cooled strawberry puree, cold milk, and heavy cream. Stir or shake vigorously until fully incorporated and smooth.
03 - Divide ice cubes evenly between two tall glasses. Pour the strawberry cream mixture over the ice, distributing equally between glasses.
04 - Slowly pour the cold brewed espresso or coffee over the back of a spoon onto the strawberry cream mixture to create a marbled effect and prevent immediate mixing.
05 - Top with whipped cream and fresh strawberry slices if desired. Serve immediately with long stirring spoons so drinkers can combine layers as they enjoy.

# Tips for Success:

01 -
  • The strawberry puree strikes that perfect balance between fresh fruit sweetness and coffee bitterness
  • Ready in ten minutes flat, which means you can make it even when youre already melting
02 -
  • If your coffee is still warm it will melt the ice too fast and dilute everything
  • Overheating the strawberries breaks down their fresh flavor so keep the heat gentle
03 -
  • Cold brew your coffee at least twelve hours ahead for the smoothest flavor that will not clash with the delicate strawberry notes
  • Chill your glasses in the freezer for ten minutes before serving for that coffee shop quality presentation
